Operations at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) remain stable despite flight cancellations linked to the ongoing Middle East conflict, as reported by Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB). Both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are fully operational, with no disruptions in check-in, security, or immigration processes. A total of 26 flights—13 departures and 13 arrivals—have been cancelled, primarily affecting services to and from the Middle East and some long-haul routes requiring airspace adjustments.

Currently, no passengers are stranded, and the airport is managing flows efficiently. However, MAHB warns that the situation is fluid, with potential for further schedule changes based on airspace safety assessments. Airlines are monitoring developments, particularly for long-haul flights, to adjust routes as needed.

Passengers traveling to affected areas are urged to verify their flight status with airlines before departing for the airport and to keep their contact information updated for real-time communications. Regular crisis meetings are being held to maintain an updated operational picture, and contingency plans are ready in case the situation escalates. The conflict has already led to numerous flight cancellations across the Middle East, affecting major airlines such as Malaysia Airlines, Qatar Airways, and Saudia.
